An earhook and thick tube combination are often used when a hearing aid needs to deliver more sound to the ear than the typical standard thin tube can produce.

Open & Closed Domes

Open domes are recommended for those with a mild to moderate hearing loss. They provide a more natural sound but can cause feedback at high volume settings.
A closed dome is intended to reduce the noise from outside the hearing aid, so the sound level can be raised more aggressively.

Magic Domes

The Magic Dome is a hybrid dome with features of both the open and closed dome. Because it has very small vents it can provide greater gain than the open dome but with less feedback.
